Glen Bui (Guitars)

(Glen Bui is on a leave due to a medical condition) Glen was born in San Francisco and spent his early years performing in the Bay Area. He earned a BA in Music from Cal State. At one time he took lessons from an up and coming guitar player named Joe Satriani while in Berkeley. Glen co-founded Pegasus while living in California, they were signed to Epic Records. He performed for Steppenwolf Productions 2010-2013 (Magic Carpet Ride) and throughout the years performed with Original members of Steppenwolf after the band broke up in 1976 in many variations of bands playing Steppenwolf’s Greatest Hits including 1979-1980 with an unauthorized version of Steppenwolf formed by Kent Henry. Glen has performed with and backed many famous artists, Eddie Money, Cathy Metea, Lone Heart , Waylon Jennings, Frank Black of Hank Williams Jr and Waylon Jennings, Thunder Ridge, The Blues Trust Fund, HolyCross and Superstars of Rock with many famous Artists.


Goldy McJohn (Hammond B3)

Goldy is best known as the original keyboardist for rock group Steppenwolf. Originally a classically trained pianist, he was a pioneer in the early use of the electronic organ (Hammond B3) in heavy metal. Goldy passed away on August 1 2017 and had toured with the band for over 10 years.


Mike Setzer (Bass, Vocals)

Mike has played bass for Steppenwolf INC. and Nelson as well as shared the stage with Leroy Powell, Arlan Schierbaum, and Brian “Dogboy” Burwell. He has opened for such national acts as Los Lonely Boys, Iron Butterfly, P.O.D., The Slip, Tealeaf Green, Lotus, and The Atomic Punks. He’s also toured and performed for Steppenwolf Productions (Magic Carpet Ride, 2011-2013).


Danny Ironstone (Keyboards/Guitar)

Recorded as a studio musician since 1972.
Signed as a songwriter/producer to Island Music in 1979.
Published ASCAP Songwriter since 1979, record producer, vocal coach,
and worldwide touring Musical Director (Keyboard Player) for popular singers and groups such as John Kay and Steppenwolf, Anita Baker, and The Pointer Sisters. Played on songs recorded by Artists: Bonnie Raitt, Sheena Easton, Anita Baker, Brenda Russell, Sylvia St. James, Jess Roden,The Carpenters, Chaka Kahn, Randy Crawford, The McCrarys, Rita Coolidge, Pricilla Coolidge, Booker T and the MG’s.


Dennis Mitchell (Guitars, Vocals)

Dennis is a member of the Kingsmen and The Dennis Mitchell Band.

(Vocals) Danny currently plays in the Roxshow which is a band with members of famous rock bands. Danny’s got an incredible voice and is joining the 2017 Tour


Armond Blackwater (Formerly of Steppenwolf 1977-78)

Armond is a perennial sideman having played behind a plethora of names you’d know and many more that you wouldn’t. Of the more notable: Otis Day, Steppenwolf, Barry White, Ricky Nelson, Del Shannon, Yesterday’s Children, and currently Spade McQuade & The All Stars.


Mike Pinera (Formerly of Iron Butterfly, Blues Image, Alice Cooper)

Started professionally in the late 1960s with the group Blues Image, which had a #4 hit in 1970 with their song “Ride Captain Ride”. After the breakup of that group, he joined Iron Butterfly, and later formed the group Ramatam. Pinera was then the founding member of the band New Cactus, a later incarnation of the band Cactus. He was the lead guitarist for Alice Cooper from 1980 to 1982.

Brett Tuggle (Keyboards) recorded and toured with John Kay and Steppenwolf and currently tours with Fleetwood Mac. Picture coming soon

Bryan Knapp (Drums) Bryan has been playing in the Northwest music scene for many years and has toured with Iron Butterfly and Pegasus, Bryan now tours with The Born To Be Wild Tour !!
